  • Website Video

  • Short form Video Ideas

  • Video Pro Tips

Going LIVE on Social

Live streams on Facebook and Instagram are becoming increasingly popular in the real estate space. They give realtors a chance to showcase their property in real-time and for viewers to interact and ask questions.

Repurposing longer video to short form

PRO TIP: Benefit of live streaming is that you can save the video and upload it into GetMunch.com and they will cut up several short form videos from that one long form video. (So think- Tiktok, Reels, Youtube shorts)

Email video marketing

Emails tend to give you solid return on investment for your efforts. When you add video into your email, you help build trust, authority, and stay on the prospect’s radar with personalized communication.

Great ways to incorporate video into email:

  • Personalized Open House Thank You

  • Personalized Market Update

  • Personalized CMA offer

Pro tip: When you’re creating your own email videos, you need to ensure they’re short and to-the-point and deliver the core message within the first two minutes.

Website Video

Introduction videos are a great tool to introduce yourself to first-time visitors. They also help humanize your real estate brand and build a connection with prospective buyers and sellers.

Pro Tip: Use a script for intro videos!

Short form Video Ideas

Listing walk throughs: Use your phone to record snippets of you walking through the home. You can edit the snippets within the Reels or Tiktok editing feature or for more editing capabilities download the app: InShot or Splice

Educational Neighborhood Guides: These videos can live on your website and youtube and help educate buyers and sellers. These video guides will help prospective clients understand what the area around their potential home looks like. Everything from transportation, to nightlife, recreation, restaurants, and landmarks can be included in these videos.

Pros of Neighborhood Guides: Add these neighborhood tours to your Website, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube profiles. You can also email these videos to prospects interested in a particular area. They're also really great to entice clients who are looking to relocate.

Testimonials: These are the easiest videos to make. Grab a template from Canva and add two lines from one of your Zillow Reviews.

Recruitment Videos: Show of your teamwork and place of work to get potential employees excited about the possibility of working with you. Team events, office events, snippets of social hours.

Video Pro Tips

Tip #1 - Focus on the lifestyle and not just the property. You’re not just selling the property, but actually convincing the buyer to buy into the lifestyle.

PRO TIP: A good way to do this is to showcase the neighborhood the property is situated in, the kind of amenities that come with it, and the lifestyle of the people living around the area to really bring home the value.

Tip #2 - Repurpose your videos strategically: For example, say you create a video telling your audience the steps they need to take before they purchase a property. You can upload the full-length video on YouTube. But for Instagram, you'll need to make it around 30-40 seconds. That's where Munch is a lifesaver!

Tip #3 - Short and sweetUnless you are streaming live or doing a walkthrough video, make sure to create short and crisp videos that give all the relevant information. A recent Microsoft study that our attention span has dropped down to 8 seconds!

Tip #4 - Include CTA's in your videos: Super important to have a call to action in your video and in your video descriptions. People need to know what action they should take next to connect with you.
